Rimmel Lasting Finish Lipstick Review

So, i succumbed to the marketing techniques used by rimmel, and decided to purchase their new 'Lasting Finish' Lipstick. I bought two from Boots, as they were on special offer (i think i saved about £1 on each). The first i bought was called 'firecracker', and the second 'heart breaker'. I do often wonder where they think up the names for their products. I don't have any idea whether i have a cool skin tone, or a warm skin tone, so i often wear more subtle lip colours where it doesn't matter so much. These are by no means subtle colours. Firecracker is a pinky red sort of colour, and heartbreaker, to the best i can describe it, is a raspberry ish colour.

I found the lipsticks overall to last a long time, although not as long as they advertise them to, and there are plenty of colours to choose from. The colours are very vibrant, however like all lipsticks, they don't come out on your lips how they look in the pot. The lipsticks feel like lipbalm when they're applied, which i suppose if you're looking for a more matte style lipstick, then it wouldn't be for you. However, i found this to work in my advantage as they don't dry up your lips like other long lasting lipsticks can do. For the price, i find them to be good value, even though im not particularly a lipstick girl.
