Rimmel Stay Matte Foundation.

So, seeing as im being quite tight with cash this month (christmas soon guys, needing to buy presents), and owing to the fact that i ran out of my favourite foundation (Max Factor Colour Adapt), i had to resort to using Rimmel's Stay Matte foundation, which is £6, about half the price of my usual one. I purchased it in the colour 'True Ivory', as i am really pale, it looked ok on in the shop, and it was cheap! Bad decision. Firstly, as you all should know, foundation isn't something you should buy thinking it looks ok in artificial lighting! In broad daylight, this foundation was way too dark. My face looked dirty when i put it on. I should have known, and now im going to have to purchase a new foundation, which will be more money wasted. Literally i should have stuck with what i knew.

Also, i am never a spotty person. I get one about one every two months, as i have mentioned before, my skin is mostly dry. This foundation contains chamomile and cucumber extracts, which i assumed would be good for my skin. Wrong, i have had so many spots since using this, and i think im breaking out again. Im not sure if this product uses any ingredients which is making my break out, im going to compare the ingredients with my other foundation and let you know.

This foundation does however, stay matte. It really does stay on your face all day, without sliding off. That was kind of unfortunate for me, as i think i possibly look better without foundation, than with one which makes me look like i have slight jaundice. It is also available in a variety of colours, and is really quite cheap for a foundation.

Overall, for me, the product is just so-so. I probably would give it a better rating had it not made me break out into lots of spots (my diet hadn't changed, and i was breaking out a day after i had switched foundations.)
