Ugg Boots? Yay Or Nay?

Considered by some to be the only footwear worth owning, and to others to be the most hideous type of boot in existence, Ugg boots certainly gain their fair share of mixed reviews.

They are fairly shapeless, and the shape that they do have isn't very nice. It kind of looks like your feet have swollen up, and the material has expanded to accommodate it. I can see how people would look at someone wearing them and assume that they were a chav. Actual Ugg boots are quite expensive, however you can purchase many carbon copies on the high street for as little as £6.

The jury is out on this one though, it is getting to winter and it's getting chilly outside, i have to say i have worn these boots once to test them out, and they were extremely comfortable and warm, it felt as if i've just exited my front door wearing slippers. Which is what i want from my footwear in the winter. And at the measley price of £6, they're hardly breaking the bank.

So, what does everyone else thing of the Ugg Boot? Is it as hideous as the Croc, or does comfort trump style every time?
