Also, you may or may not have realised, but I've made a facebook page for this blog. I'm aiming to make it more interactive than most facebook pages. I'm hoping people will share their thoughts on my blog, post discussions on fashion/general life, as well as sharing their own blog on the site. I'm hoping that not only will people discover new posts I've published, but also newer and relatively unknown blogs which are absolutely fabulous and deserve a bit more recognition. Anyway, if you do decide to follow, the link is at the side.
Brogues
20 May 2011
My brogues broke the other day! They were only cheapies from Primark which cost the grand total of £8, but I loved them dearly and now they are gone! I could still wear them, but the sole had come apart so they look like they could engage in conversation. Not good! But it has had me lusting over these beauties.

Boo, poor brogues! I quite fancy some white ones, they look perfect styled with that delicate skirt! I shall check your FB page once I am home (it's blocked at work!) xx
ReplyDeleteThat's the one thing about Primark - you can't fall too in love with the items you buy there because they don't have that much of a shelf life.

The spectator brogues just rock. They're a contemporary version of the saddle shoes I wore as a child. Fun!

Sarah- thanks for stopping by my blog and commenting :) I'm so envious that you have Primark to shop at. Love the collection of photographs and the white pair are too cute. Totally going to follow your blog now.

Love all the brogues! I just recently posted some blood red ones that I fell in love with, out of a normal gal's price range but gorgeous to gaze at nonetheless:

Thanks for commenting on my blog too! I saw you do a feature on new blogs, but at 4 months old I guess mine doesn't qualify anymore, right? Just thought I'd ask! Either way, I do appreciate your comments. I usually tend to go blonder in the summer, but I think this year I may just stick with my red, glad you like it!

Wow! Thanks for getting back to me. Would love to be featured here, thanks so much! And as for my hair, I have always experimented a lot with color, but I keep coming back to orangey-red, it's like home base for me. Me blonde is pretty lazy, just layers of graduated highlights and roots never touched up so I get that ombre effect. But I do love lighter hair for the hot weather. Anyway, enough about my hair. Just wanted to write back quick and say thanks!
