Pearly queen

Ps - The title of this post isn't meant to be me being up myself, it's just the name of the nail polish sitting next to me. Just a quick video for you guys today! I'm sorry about the light, it is natural light but I filmed it on my webcam so I had the light from the computer screen in my face. This video is my first one ever for my blog, so please say if you like it and I will try and do some more. It's an accent tag video, and you can check out more on youtube. Ps - I am originally from Cambridge in the UK, but I've lived in London, Bristol and Northern Ireland.

  1. I can't watch this now because I'm currently at work, but I'm really looking forward to watching it when I get home!
Then I'll probably do it myself as well, if I do, I'll let you know!

I'll have to listen later instead! Excited to hear you because I find it so interesting when you're used to only reading peoples posts!

  5. Sarah, you are such a doll! I love your accent! Guess what? I live in New Orleans!!! I couldn't believe that was one of the words on the list. Everyone says New Or-leans, but really its New Or-Luns (pronunciation). You did a fantastic job and I hope you create MORE videos. LOVE IT!

    1. I heard a lot of people say 'New Or-luns' who are from there, and that it was the actual pronounciation. I guess we all pronounce things differently though, the most poignant one for me there was lieutenant and how I pronounce it 'leff tenant'! :P xx

  11. aww you sound as lovely as you seem 'online', a very gentle voice (that sounds weird, so sorry!) I used to be as 'well spoken' as you but do tend to talk a bit slapdashly (not even a word!) unless I am talking to someone important. which is daft I reckon, but ce la vie! I did a whats in my bag video a few weeks ago, so if you are interested you can go see what I sound like... (however I do not crack a smile once!!) xxx

Love the accent. I love British accents. I have a friend, John, who I met in Vegas who lives in Sidcup, Bexley (?) I have no idea what or where that is. Anywhoo, great idea!

  15. A star is born. Yes pleasant. English accents, and female ones often do well, yours is good, Sarah. I am listening to an Englishmen reading the Word English Bible right now, not a professional as far as I know and the accent just works well compared to many others.

I must warn you, please take no offense, I have been known to load online English accents to fall asleep to though because they are soothing, not because the content is boring.;)
