Just thought I'd share two photos of my weekend! I was meant to share much more seeing as my boyfriend's parents came to see us, but we've really only been out for dinner and drinks and I didn't think it would be too interesting to share that on my blog. I think that we are going to a swanky restaurant this afternoon which will be nice. I also signed up to do two OU courses starting this May, one is a photography course, and the other is for web design, which I am really excited for. I'm also about to complete five weeks of training for my job, which is also exciting but really nerve wracking!
I've had the two products pictured for ages yet I've only recently rekindled my love for them. The first is a Rimmel lipstick in Heartbreaker, which is such a pretty shade, but I never usually wear lipstick as it makes me feel too bold and done up. The second is Model's Own Top Turquoise, which is such a pretty shade. I don't know why I didn't pick it up earlier.
Are there any products that you've recently rediscovered?

You should definitely wear that lipstick more often, it looks gorgeous on you. I am recently rediscovering my love for Moon Beam highlighter by Benefit :) xox

That lipstick is so pretty on you! I know what you mean about it, though. I generally prefer gloss for everyday, but I often wear my bright red lip stick on the weekends :)

You look gorgeous with the lippy, it's not too strong a shade to look too much for daytime! Hope you had fun with the boyfriends parents, lots of eating is always good in my book =) xxx
ReplyDeleteI am totally the biggest fan of model's own nail varnishes as they are so smooth to apply - a good brand if you ask me.
ReplyDeleteThe pastel green is perfect for Spring, may have to pick that up myself! ;)

ReplyDeleteO i love your lip color! I know what you mean about feeling 'too done up' though.. but for some reason i've had a change of heart and am totally loooooving bright lip shades. Not sure why I've changed my thinking. Perhaps cuz i see it so much here in NYC.. annnyyyway, it makes feel totally special and like i'm really taking care of myself.
ReplyDeletelol.. sorry for the rant! you're certainly rocking it girl! :-)
ps.. your courses sound great!

I rediscovered my old silver glittery "Sinful Colors" nail polish last night. My nails look insane! I love wearing lipstick, but I tend to make a mess of it and have to constantly wipe it off to eat or play the oboe.
ReplyDeleteWell done on the training! I recently rediscovered my No7 Coral Lipstick, it's brilliant.
ReplyDeleteLove the color of your eyes. That lipstick shade is perfect on you.
ReplyDeleteno darling sarah, i haven't rediscovered any products of my own. i do like the ones you chose on you. the lipstick looks pretty, & not too bold or done up, at all. then again, lipstick is the one thing i have to wear, even if i'm without any other make-up. i favor the turquoise nail polish for it's bright, & fun color. :)
ReplyDeleteLove the colour of the nail polish. I need to go back to rediscovering, as at the moment I am stress buying products to cheer myself up! xx
ReplyDeleteLove the color, I've found something similar few days ago! :)

You look really lovely, Sarah! really nice lippy! I have the same models own nail colour but haven't used it yet. Mine is "seperating" a little bit! Does yours do the same? I'm wondering if it's suppose to be like that! Have shaken it but there's still streaks in it! :( xxx
ReplyDeleteThank you Sarah :)! A few of my other ones have seperated, but it doesn't seem to affect how it applies and the colour! I guess you could pour out the part that's seperated, as I know that shaking it doesn't seem to help :) xx
DeleteReally nice color :)
ReplyDeleteMhmmm, definitely loving that turquoise shade!
ReplyDeleteAnd sounds like your signed up for the perfect classes :D
That's so cool, it'll be nice to see the results from your classes appear on your blog. ^^

ReplyDeleteI have more discovered, than rediscovered. Jane Iredale products to be specific which is the only thing that works for my skin. I've fallen in love with their Chocoholic's line. A lipstick-set that smell and taste like chocolate? My wallet is weeping.
